    We could not have asked for a better experience. As is the case with most weddings, wrangling family together for photos is crazy. Derrick was understanding and utilized these moments to capture great candid photos that we did not even know we wanted.

Hi. I’m Derrick.

Last year alone I took over 200,000 photos.

Mostly of weddings and portraits. But also of travel, sports, performance arts, and my puppy.

I love trying new techniques and genres of photography and bringing all of that back into my wedding work.

My camera is how I communicate best, and I can’t think of a better job than the one I have now.

I truly love what I do.

I believe in having actual color in my photos. I don’t want to just steam roll all or your meticulously chosen colors and styles.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ll edit everything to and add some creative liberties here and there.
